Many editions of the works of
Burns have included studies of
the people associated with him
during his life and after.
This book traces Burns's family
members in chronological order
and date along with his friends and
contemporaries.

The book was conceived over eight
years ago by Colin Hunter McQueen
after perusing an illustrated volume
of “Tam o' Shanter” by the Scottish
artist George Cruikshank and from
then it has taken seven years to
produce this highly decorated volume.
It has been scrupulously researched,
compiled and written by Colin’s son,
Douglas Hunter, who has discovered
new material which corrects long
accepted data by past authors.

Only 2000 copies of this
book are available. These will be
signed by the illustrator and author
and will be individualy numbered.
This highly decorated book has been
produced in full colour, with approx.
600 beautifull illustrations and at
309 pages is a valuable edition
to any collection, not only for its
lavish quality, but its highly infor-
mative and thoroughly researched
content concerning the people and
places associated with Robert Burns.
It will certainly be a cherished family
heirloom for future generations.
